Background
The youngest of five children, Ind’ra Lhove was always expected to live up to his brothers’ reputations. It didn’t help that they were all either accomplished researchers or gleaners and that his stepfather was a member of the Forum. He was born in Thavnair but has no memories of it because his mother moved him and his brothers to Old Sharlayan when he was just a few summers old. His biological father had been a gleaner, which allowed the connection. Unfortunately, he disappeared and his mother leaned on an elezen friend of his for support and help to raise her kids.
He attended the Studium when he was old enough where he focused his studies on astrology, preferring to spend most of his time outside under the stars than in a stuffy classroom. He was not a great student. Skipping classes to fish and swim in the harbor or else lazing out in the grass under the sun. When his mother finally gave him an ultimatum that it was time for him to be an adult and pick what he would be doing for the rest of his life for the good of Sharlayan, he panicked and ran, jumping on the next boat to Eorzea.
He ended up in La Noscea where he spent a few months bouncing between fishing for money and spending that gil nearly every night dancing and grinding against strangers to just breathe in the moment and not have to think about the future. By chance, he ran into his cousin Nylah Rivers, who offered her café as a place he could sleep in exchange for keeping it maintained while she went off on her extended travels.
It was at a club one night that he noticed an Au Ra with the most interesting galaxy scales standing off to the side and appearing dejected. Immediately attracted to his looks and curious about the scales, he dragged the auri onto the dance floor. Little did he know that that choice would alter the course of the rest of his life. After so long of flings and one nights, it shocked him how fast he became possessive of Tazzire Boreal.
So fast in fact that it was not long before they spent every night together, until Tazzire’s job as a warrior of light took him away. Missing him dearly, Ind’ra did what he could to feel close to the man he was beginning to love and tattooed the stars he saw in Tazzire’s scales on his body. When the Au Ra finally returned, Ind’ra vowed to never let him go off without someone that cared for his wellbeing again. He used his training with two swords for damage and his astrology for healing to fight for his place by Tazzire’s side. The two of them became one unit, fighting together for a better tomorrow and a restful day by the water.
Their travels eventually took them to where he was born, and he fell in love with it at first sight. The sights, the sounds, the food. The fishing. It was somehow almost too perfect. After they got engaged, Tazzire suggested that they not only have their wedding in Radz-at-Han but also move there. Their home is large enough to support their many birds that they seem to collect constantly as well as several water features that Ind’ra takes full advantage of.
When they got married, Ind’ra took Tazzire’s last name, a name his husband had chosen for himself and that describes who they both are. Boreal.
Tazzire Boreal
Ind'ra's husband, Tazzire is the star that guides him through even the darkest days. He often calls Tazzire by the name Stardust, a moniker he came up with by likening the Au Ra to the dust among the stars in the sky, a phenomenon that he finds as comforting as a warm blanket in a soft bed.
Nylah Rivers
Ind'ra's cousin. She's his mother's niece, but takes after her own mother, being a Seeker of the Sun miqo'te instead of a Keeper of the Moon. Due to her growing up in Ala Mhigo, Ind'ra did not meet her until he made his way to Eorzea. To his dismay, it turned out that the Au Ra who he started dating was actually someone she called 'brother'. That was an awkward conversation.
Hello! Thank you for viewing Ind'ra's carrd. I am very much open to Walk-Up RP and would love to get to know your character and see how we can make a story together. However, there are a couple ground rules I have for RPing with me:
1. Please only interact with me if you as a player are 18+
2. I'm not open to ERP at this time.
3. Ind'ra is an adult and will not romantically interact with characters that are children.
If those rules are good with you, please feel free to RP with me at any time in game.
